One of my go to after dinner drinks is Frangelico and lime on the rocks. I love the fragrance and flavors of this cocktail. Today we are combining a favorite of Paul, bourbon and a favorite of mine, Frangelico with lime. Bourbon, hazelnut and bitter citrus come together in this twist on the classic Old Fashioned.

Hazelnut Old Fashioned

1 oz Buffalo Trace bourbon

1 oz Frangelica

.25 oz lime

.25 oz demerara simple syrup

4 dashes Angostura bitters

Directions:

Add all ingredients to ice filled mixing glass. Stir to chill. Strain into ice filled rocks glass.
